With regards to Doctors co-payments. Most medical aids do have a list of Doctors & Dentists that they will cover the full 100% amount. So you do have a choice but you just don’t always get YOUR choice. In which case then yes the co-payment will kick in.

Ah yes, “that” list. I have actually looked at a few options on that list but they were dodge. So, I moved on and paid the co-payment 🙂 Trick is that it will not always be YOUR choice. But at least there are options available. Btw, is your healthcare better than it was in SA?
