  1. Big changes in routine is difficult. I love my routine and battle sometimes when the routine goes out the window. But normality returns after a while and a new routine forms. Good luck with the changes. Enjoy the trip to CPT.

Thanks Jeannette. I guess it’s finding the “new” routine that will settle things down so we all know our new normal.

  2. I find it so difficult when I don’t have a routine. I start to feel flustered. That being said, I LOVE change, which is weird I guess. I think we feel “safe” when we are surrounded by the known. Wishing you all the best in your new department, and yes, also with all the school stuff going on… It’s going to be a long weekend for us all! xxx

I hear you Jacqui. I feel out of sorts, like I’ve lost my mojo…I don’t mind change byt i don’t like when it is forced or I feel coerced into it…Thank you and all the best with being a working mom now. School stuff…meh

  3. I agree with what the ladies and you have said – routine is critical for me to just keep my sanity. Good luck with all the new changes at work and all the best for 2018. I have been gritting my teeth for this year trying to find some space for all the things I need to do, but i’m back at work today and hopefully that will create a little more “normal” and help me find myself again! xxx

Thanks Venean. I find it’s the simplest form of routine, e.g. going to work and school, that saves sanity around here. All the best for the year! I hope you are finding your normal.

  4. Night time routine I suck. I realise that I need to implement some type of routine because I’m busy going mad.

It can make or break you Melissa. Although, routine is not for everyone, it works for me and my family.

  5. I thrust on routine and structure and so I agree with your sentiments. There are days when things don’t work out but we get it 90% of the time. My life saver is early bedtime for the kids (yay!). I would love to see a post on family routines (wink wink) we can learn from our routines. I am also studying and starting at a new company now (boy oh boy) it’s going to be intense. I hope you enjoy your new role! Keep these posts coming! Love seeing into your world.

Thanks Cherralle. That’s a good idea for future collaborations! I feel like I hit the jackpot when my boys go to bed at night. Good luck and all the best for your studies and new job.
